The Woodhouse team aim to make your dental experience a pleasant one. We have created a warm, friendly and relaxed environment throughout the practice. Woodhouse exceeds all the minimum recommendations for infection control and health & safety as set out by the Department of Health and Care Quality Commission. Our centralised sterilization room is equipped with a washer disinfector and vacuum autoclaves as per best practice recommendations.
We aim to provide routine check-ups for all clients to ensure that good oral hygiene and diet advice is reinforced regularly. We provide instructions on tooth brushing, flossing and use of mouth washes and interdental cleaning devices, thorough personal visits to the hygienist, educational videos and information leaflets. When applicable, we recommend regular application of fluoride gel and placement of fissure sealants to reverse the effects of early tooth decay. We also work closely with dental hygienists to help you to maintain, healthy gums, strong teeth and fresh breath. Early detection of basic issues such as tooth decay and gum disease allow us to be minimally invasive when treating you and avoid complex treatment such as root canal treatment or extractions.
